I am now convinced I have a guardian angel.
In an otherwise awful day, three good things happened:
1) My bus was delayed a few minutes, giving me enough time to run back to my house to get something I forgot.
2) A computer opened up in the library this morning, giving me enough time to download my project for first period. I also made it to class on time, which is amazing in itself.
3) I forgot my lunch, and had no money to buy anything. I didn't have breakfast this morning either. I spent most of my day hungry, but in last period, someone bought me a bad of chips.
Another random point: I wasn't cold at all last night, or all of today, which is rare for me, especially seeing as it's December.
And you know what? Almost as either irony, proof, or mockery, my Launchcast just began playing one of my favourite songs...as it's been doing since I started this post...
Anyways, I just wanted to make public my belief in angels, and I'd like to give my deepest and most humble thanks to the one that's watching over me; for the strength and the resolve you've given me, for bringing me inspiration during times of creative drought,for helping me through some of the most nerve-racking and stressful times of my life, for watching over my Mother and sister as well as I, and for staying with me, even though I'm no longer Christian*.
EDIT: and thank you for giving me the concentration I needed to finish my Essays, and thank you for letting the words come to me quickly and easily.
I don't think I'm worthy of your love, Angel, but I thank you for it nonetheless.
*Although I'm not Christian, I'm a spiritual agnostic; That is to say, I may not believe in God, but I don't rule out his existence, and I do believe in faith healing, angels, astrology and other things people consider "new age."*
